Students take the samples of water from the wetland during the walk on the educational trail. They view the micro organisms in the drop of water with microscope. They learn about the connection of microscopic organisms in the food chain and their relation to the macro world. Through various educational games students learn about the migration of birds, importance of forest protection, life of bats, and many other interesting facts from the nature world around them. Through various team games students are exercising their physical skills and team work abilities.

You can organize your programmes in Eco centre Zlatna Greda, in the flooded woods of the Danube, in the border area of Kopački rit Nature Park. Eco centre Zlatna Greda is situated in peaceful surroundings in the heart of wetland forests, it is equipped with a gazebo for 50 people, multifunctional conference room for 30 people, all necessary equipment for presentations (laptop, plasma screen, projector , projection canvas, microscope, surround system)

Great River Danube, with its impressive size takes your breath away. Many armbands, sandbanks, richness of plant and animal species give variety of unusual sights of intact nature. Experience this great river in the canoes, swim in it, and rest on sandbanks.

In the time of big floods, the forest trails disappear under the incoming water . The revival process of the "Pannonian Sea" begins. This is the greatest attraction of Kopački rit. Oak trees, willows and poplars appear as only islands on the horizon.

Because of its preserved natural beauties throughout its route, the River Drava is often called "The Green heart of Europe". On its last stage, close to its mouth into the Danube it forms the shape of the great plain River with a variety of sandbanks and endless woods.
The Drava's richness is her vivacity and livelihood. The banks of Drava are rich with endangered animals and plants species (endangered both in Europe and on the Global scale) like the sand martin, little tern, and otter .

Up till now, 293 bird species have been recorded in Kopački rit, 144 of them nest permanently or occasionally. The number of birds in Kopački rit is greater during the spring and autumn migration. In the winter period, over tens of thousands ducks and geese fly over the Baranja sky during their migration from west Siberia. Kopački rit is famous as the largest nesting place of white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla), and the largest colony of cormorants and gray herons in Croatia.

Kopački rit changes with the seasons. Every season brings its own curiosities in the animal and plant world. In the spring, water floods Kopački rit, birds return to nest; hinds give birth, wetland plants are in bloom… In the summer period animals are active, they take their young for first walks, in the autumn, and during August and September you can witness "deer roaring" time when the males call their partners. Winter is the time when you can easily spot large wild animals, because of the scarce vegetation. You can observe birds in battle for the last pieces of food buried under the snow...
