Eco centre receives new attractions as a part of project financed by European Union Print

eu-zastava.gif Zlatna Greda Eco centre is a part of the project of Development of cross-border tourism in middle Danube region. Project is managed by Ecological association “Green Osijek" and partners are Tourist association of Osijek-Baranya county, Tourist association of City of Osijek and Sombor county in Serbia. Project is financially supported by European Union and Croatian Ministry of Sea, Tourism and Development. Goal of the project is to insure sustainable development and promotion of natural values through initiation of ecological and rural tourism in the area.

As a part of the project, Eco centre has received equipment for animal observing, opening of camp, building wildlife observatories, new hiking routes and traditional wooden boats. Cross-border packages are being made that will connect two of the largest natural resources in middle Danube region - Kopački rit in Croatia and Nature reservation upper Danube in Serbia. New promotion materials, presentations on the biggest tourist fairs, Danube Day festival as well as Pannonian peace path are just a few of the events that we are expecting in the next period.
