Eco-tourist program offers variety of Kopacevo wetland, middle Danube region and Baranja tours that will bring you closer untouched nature, rich animal life and preserved tradition. Programs are carried out in small groups (8-16 people for each individual program) and are costumed for different age and physical condition. For bigger groups we connect several programs in one day, according to your interest.  

If you fill out our form in Reservations we will put together detailed schedule, interesting contents and offer acceptable prices. For every program we can insure food and worm and cold drinks.
Tours are done with assistance from our guides and all of necessary equipment for all programs is insured. Eco centre can offer transportation to Zlatna Greda.

Hiking tours

Kopacevo wetland and Zlatna Greda area is rich with interesting plant and animal species and represents true pleasure to all nature lovers. By hiking through wetland one can observe rare species like eagles and black storks, deer herd and wild pigs. Landscape beauty of the preserved wetland is unique place for photography lovers.

Hiking can be done on arranged eco-path or through wild paths of wetland’s forests.

Hiking tours can be done on a horse and in that way you can experience swamp world for horse back (adjusted for absolute beginners).
For all tours we have prepared special equipment for day and night bird and animal watching.

Photo safari

Designed for the most persistent and most patient ones who will go into the wild in search for animal view. This form of offer is focused on searching and observing birds and animals from arranged gazebo on hiking track or from natural hiding place deep in forest. Observing flock of birds and classic bird watching, wild herds and buck roar represent the best way of getting to know animal world. You will discover many endangered species that live in this area.   

Observing is done in complete silence because animals cannot be disturbed and they habits should not be changed.    

The best way to see the animals is to combine hiking and boat riding in small groups.

Boat rides

Big river with male name thrills every time with its power and magnificent landscapes. Driving in a wooden boat is a real adventure with entries to hidden Danube trunnions, lakes as well as beautiful sad beaches and islands. Be prepared to encounter wild animal life on forest’s ends.

Canoe rides

Experience nature through paddling sounds. This combination of recreation and silence of nature is appropriate for all age. Canoe moving allows entering hidden Kopacevo wetland and Danube branches especially in the time of great floods. This quiet tour ensures close encounters with birds and wild animals.

Bike tours

A bike tour from Osijek to Zlatna Greda through Pannonian peace bicycle route and Baranja is a mixture of relaxation and enjoyment in nature. Beside sightseeing Baranja and Kopacevo wetland you can find accommodation, restaurants, cultural and natural excitements alongside many other attractions. In dry periods you one can go through flooded forests all the way to Danube River.

Old crafts

Visits to village museums and old craft workshops will bring you back in time of old traditions and past times. Baranja abounds with villages that have preserved culture and life tradition. You can see way of life that are instinct in most other parts and be surprised with warm welcome from your hosts. They will show you their way of life, traditional food and drinks, handicrafts and customs as well as tell you stories and legends from this area.

Meals in Eco centre are based on local specialties and food that’s prepared in a traditional way. Most common are: open fire, traditional pots made of clay and kettle but we would also like to recommend fish soup, roasted fish, dish called “čobanac” and many more…
